Run while you can. Worst insurance company
This is absolutely the worst insurance company on planet Earth. Do NOT do any business with them, no matter how desperate you may feel. They are not customer friendly nor are they willing to assist you. The only thing they are interested in is to take your money and not help you in any way.
Paying Insurance Coverage for Nothing
I had a terrible experience with this auto insurance company. I should feel secure because I paid for an insurance company to cover me in case of an accident. But no, they leave you to deal with your accident issues. They can’t resolve even a small car accident issue. They just brush you off but keep getting money from your account for insurance coverage. They have no shame at all. Getting your money but not providing a good service. And those case managers are enjoying their pay putting food on their family’s table without doing anything for the people whose paying their policy diligently every month. How could you people? How could you enjoy the money you are making when you hardly work for it? To Sheena and Jackie. What comes around turns around. You’ll get your piece of cake too. You’ll be treated worst than how you are treating me right now. No emails, no calls huh
Worst insurance company
I was hit with a car which resulted in a hip fracture by the Pembridge client but guess what – whenever we contact them about my income placement they have an excuse. It’s now 4 months they haven’t given me anything yet am still home and not working because of the fracture I sustained when their client hit me from the bike lane. All they say is that they are still investigating which I don’t understand.. They are just disappointing me every time . Me being a victim with this insurance and all they do is tell me they are investigating as if they don’t know that I had the accident with their client is so devastating.

Worst Insurance Company
Made a claim two weeks ago and was told an appraiser would be set up within 4 business days for estimate. After two weeks, still no appraiser assigned. Claim adjuster has been no response to emails and voice mails, not even a single word of communication. It holds back everything for car repair. Worst service I’ve ever had. Take your money to someone else, absolutely not this company. I’d leave a negative rating if possible.
ABSOLUTE FRAUDS!!! DON’T DO IT
ABSOLUTE FRAUDS!! DO NOT GO WITH THEM OR TALK TO [redacted] ESPECIALLY!!! Changed my policy somehow went from 333.00 a month to 1200… And then tried to charge me a month early renewal of almost 700… They refuse to explain anything.. Send you documents when it’s too late to stop the payments or just no documents at all. DO NOT DO IT!!! Says a one star but it’s a mistake.. – 100000

They’re very helpful in providing good advices. Their premium is very competitive. I got a Covid-19 refund without calling them.
Avoid
These people, whom ever they might be, eroded my confidence in them because it took over 2 months to get an auto changed on my policy. Moreover, they repeatedly sent snail mail to me regarding winter tires on a vehicle I didn’t own any longer. The final straw was their almost doubling my auto renewal. I cancelled of course.

This company is absolutely terrible. They take your money but don’t reply when you need them. They also make claims without checking the actual facts and police reports.

They can sell you insurance and take your money but when you have an actual claim, THERE IS NO ONE TO TALK TO!
They have a “face” company they are using called Buckley Insurance, they are up to no good. Buckley never informed me that I am insured with Pambridge until after the fact, if they did, I would not do it with them.
Stay away, Pembridge is not answering calls or reply to emails. They will screw you over when you actually need them.

How stupid is this company
I got a house policy from a broker the wrote the policy . and the billing date was the 17th of the month a simple request can you change the billing date to the end of the month. They got back and said they couldn’t . All they do is collect money once a month and they could not do this simple thing and if I cancel I have to pay a cancellation fee. they are total assholes

STAY AWAY FROM THIS INSURER!!!!! I’d give them zero stars if that was possible but unfortunately 1 is the minimum. I can’t believe how bad is their customer service after taking literally thousands of dollars of nothing. Been with them for over 2 years, never had a claim. I had to leave Canada and need insurance for 2 more weeks. They charged me for the whole month. And when I asked them for a no claim letter, they replied to me that there’s 70$ outstanding premium which the didnt inform me about before. After sending them 3 emails and getting the same responses explaining nothing, somebody finally told me that there was a hidden charges. And still didnt get my no claim letter.
Money hungry thieves
I made a home claim three weeks ago because of a fire. The adjuster came in and encouraged us to stay in our camping trailer (2 teens, two adults, two dogs and a cat) instead of a hotel. He suggested since we had a lot of knick knacks that we do the cleaning because their value was less than what it would cost to pay the clean up crew to clean. The adjuster also suggested it was a good time to purge things we didnt use often (instead of claiming the items as a loss) They would not have a dumpster delivered for the demolition, the clean up crew had to pack their truck full of the debris before leaving every day. It was also suggested we bring our clothing to the laundromat and clean the smoke smell off them ourselves. Our jackets, sweaters and shoes were taken by a dry cleaning company while we were at a neighbours showering on a Friday so we had to go out and buy new shoes and jackets (average temp outside was -5C) over the weekend so kids had something to wear to school. The adjuster suggested it was a unnecessary purchase we should have spoken to him about first. The adjuster also suggested our expenses associated with living in the camping trailer ( disposable dishes, ready made food cuz we had no stove, propane for heat etc.) were not expenses associated with the fire, but regular every day costs of living not covered by the insurance company. This “cheaping out” at their client’s expense is disgusting, especially for a company connected to Allstate. It’s been three weeks into my claim, I have heard from my adjuster once since our first meeting. We have been treated like a huge inconvenience.
To top it off, on renewal, my premium went up 400.00 a year because there were a lot of flooding claims in our area. We were also penalized because I called Pembridge instead of my broker to ask what my deductible was should I need to make a claim. That call was marked on my record as a claim.
My past experience with another company was great compared to this. The adjuster then came in, told us we had nothing to worry about because they had everything covered, PLUS they reimbursed all my expenses no questions asked. I changed to Pembridge because they were the least expensive quote. I strongly regret that decision now that I am a huge inconvenience and nuisance to them because I have to actually file a claim. I am heartbroken and extremely stressed that I am going to have to fight to get any of what I am genuinely owed.
Double charged!!!
I was quoted for 4555$ for 2 vehicle,so under 400$ monthly…and they charged 795$!!!after 2 months tried to get a hold of them and my broker…nothing…this was in September …we are in April and got the answer that there was a misunderstanding and they apologise…and that is it …I guess I have to accept their apology and be happy for paying 4000$…in 5 months…
I am in tears!!!Never felt so betrayed!!!

Slow Claim services,
Trust me, no-fault insurance in Ontario. The PEMBRIDGE insurance company will not stand from the client side. The adjuster goal is to use the least amount of money to settle the claim. I was involved in an accident. I am the listed driver in the policy but not the policyholder. I got rear-ended. At first, the insurance said because of lane change you caused the accident. you have to pay the deductible. (The repair is less than the deductible). Then I didn’t agree on that since the accident happened after the lane change. It was a rear ended accident. The insurance sends me to special investigation. After that, claim manager spoke to me and policyholder. Your car can be covered by the insurance company because of policyholder but we are going to sue the listed driver. They believe that is intentionally caused the accident. Therefore, the insurance company doesn’t cover any of damages and loss.
Based on what I see here, they are finding the different reason to charge you at fault so that they can pay out less. Also, they did not follow the Ontario Fault determination rule to determine the fault.
We are going to Ombudsman to get help. Asking General Insurance Ontario (GIO) for help.
I am very disappointed that being a client with Pembridge insurance then the insurance is file lawsuit to their client.

Very slow insurance services for accident reimbursement. Ex. Towing cost from the accident location to reporting center, and reporting center to repair body shop. Also, the replacement parts are not all from OEM. Some from after market and some from OEM. I emailed more than 3 times and left 2 voicemail to ask to call back from pem bridge. Never received a call nack or email.
Need to keep follow up with insurance company. Went to their office couple time. Then they will solve the problem for you.

Absolutely worst adjuster and claim manager. Got rear ended. Simple situation straight rear ended accident, could use Fault Determination Rules (FDRs) under Ontario Insurance Act. The insurance company is making us with complex procedure and claim process. We are going through Claim Adjuster -> Property Claim manager -> Field Investigator (I am here now)-> All-state ombudsman -> General Insurance Ontario (GIO) -> Court with lawyer.
Quoted around $3500 for 2 cars. My payment was supposed to be around $300 a month. So my first payment came $444 and from $3500 they raised it to $4000. I think that is not fair for people with limited income to deal with this type of game. VERY DISAPOINTED
