We’re excited to share that we’ve won Best Insurance Website at the 2023 Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards.
As part of our multi-year transformation, last summer we underwent an exciting rebrand that included changing our name along with launching a new value proposition of lovable insurance, a fresh visual identity and a completely redesigned website.
Wanting to differentiate ourselves from other brokerages, we drew inspiration from some of the top consumer retail sites in the world when creating our website design and user experience.
The strategy has paid off with mitchinsurance.com taking home the Best Insurance Website prize at the 2023 IAC Awards after being judged on a number of criteria including creativity, innovation, impact, design, copywriting, use of the medium and memorability.
Founded in 1999 by the Web Marketing Association, the IAC Awards are the first and only industry-based advertising competition dedicated exclusively to online advertising. The annual international awards program evaluates all forms of online advertising and recognizes companies doing outstanding work in their respective industries.
“Winning the 2023 IAC Award for Best Insurance Website less than nine months after our rebrand is an accomplishment we’re incredibly proud of,” said Mitch Director of Marketing, Desiree Minielly. “Our goal is to change the way people feel about insurance. This starts with a bright, modern and inclusive website that makes insurance accessible, engaging and easy to understand.
“We’re continuing to enhance our site with new digital tools, functionality and content to create a better user experience and provide clients with more flexibility to manage their insurance when and how they want. We’ll keep evolving our brand and online presence as we work to bring lovable insurance to life.”
Last fall, Mitch won three MarCom Awards for our rebranding efforts – including one for the redesign of our website. We were also named one of Canada’s Top Growing Companies by The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business magazine for the second straight year. Lovable indeed!
